All Class 3a, 3b, and 4 lasers on the UC Berkeley campus fall under the UCB Laser Safety Program. The ORS administers this program for the UCB Non-Ionizing Radiation Safety Committee (NIRSC). The campus Laser Safety Officer (Acting LSO) is Eddie Ciprazo who is responsible for implementation of the Non-Ionizing Radiation Safety program (laser safety and other non-ionizing sources).
